Hair Transplant (Hair Restoration)

Hair Transplant – Restore your attractive, natural hair via a hair transplant though Strax Rejuvenation

Procedure

Research has shown that hair loss – also called androgenetic alopecia or male pattern baldness – is the result of a family history of baldness combined with a change in hormones and aging. A hair transplant procedure involves permanently restoring lost hair through a simple surgical procedure.

Patients typically spend a day or two wearing a pressure bandage, although some patients can recover without using a bandage.

Symptoms/Indications:

  • Hair Thinning Atop Head
  • Redness or Inflammation of Scalp
  • Circular or Patchy Bald Spots
  • Hair Shedding in Clumps

Treatment Description:

This hair loss treatment procedure simply involves removing small hair-bearing grafts from a donor site and transplanting it to the bald or thinning area. This procedure is characterized by small incisions, and the healing process is relatively quick, with the bulk of healing happening in just a few days.

How does a hair transplant work?

A hair transplant uses local anesthetic, and involves punching out round grafts from your donor site – featuring 10 to 15 hairs each – using a special tube-like instrument, and placing them in the bald area. The other method involves using a scalpel to remove small sections of hair-bearing scalp – featuring 30 to 40 hairs each – and inserting them into slits created in the recipient area. Each session can take a few hours, with many people choosing to do two or three sessions. Stitches might be used to close the donor site holes. Surprisingly, the scalp has a large amount of blood supply that is able to help your recipient area sustain the growth of thousands of newly transplanted grafts.

What happens after the hair transplant procedure?

The hair transplant procedure will lead to a few new hair sprouts over the next several weeks or months following the procedure. By the fifth or sixth month, a large amount of growth should be seen. Although the final result should be visible within twelve months, further growth can still happen thereafter.
